The Opportunity:

The Portland OR facility is seeking a highly capable and organized Manufacturing Supervisor to drive production performance by maintaining strong daily engagement with staff using a hands-on approach to communication problem-solving and performance management to build a high-performing motivated team.

What Youll Work On

• Manage a team of manufacturing operators and production technicians (incl. full-time and contingent staff).
• Manage day-to-day operations for the production shift including labor and material flow production scheduling line support and change management.
• Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards training in operation and inspection techniques and use of tools/data.
• Monitor performance metrics and visual management systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement with production staff.
• Lead cost reduction and operational performance initiatives to improve efficiency throughput and overall manufacturing performance to achieve daily and long-term targets.
• Recruit develop and retain a diverse skilled workforce; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.

Required Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree

• Minimum 3 years related work experience in a multi-product manufacturing environment.
• Strong supervisor skills with demonstrated ability to lead coach mentor and develop employees.
• Effective communication (berval written) interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Strong organizational planning and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks meet deadlines and hold production team accountable for results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical device industry experience
• Experience with manual manufacturing processes (incl. cutting soldering crimping).
