Manufacturing Shift Lead - Night shift (6:00pm-2:00am) Monday-Friday) $24.00/hr. plus $1.00 shift differential
Who we are looking for:
We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Shift Lead to be based out of Houston TX. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor this person will be responsible for leading of an assigned team ensuring assigned duties are completed on schedule and within the right specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company.
What youll do:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure product is completed per the production schedule
- Confirm that all products meet specification and that all required quality tests are performed
- Examine operator paperwork to ensure that it is complete and correct
- Inspect the integrity and performance of the production systems
- Recruit train and develop crew members
- Optimize utilization of employees and equipment
- Understand computerized systems associated with the technologies used in our facility
- Obtain production efficiencies by a developing a culture of continuous improvement
- Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety rules and procedures
- All other assigned duties

What youll bring:
- Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations
- High attention to detail accuracy time management and organization
- Shows initiative
- Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment comfortable with multiple competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner
- Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

As of the date of this posting a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $24.00/hr. Placement in the range depends on several factors including but not limited to specific competencies relevant education qualifications certifications relevant experience skills seniority performance shift travel requirements and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include but not limited to overtime shift differentials bonuses commissions stock and other incentives.
