Position Overview
Seeking motivated and detail-oriented Operator II professionals to support manufacturing and production operations in a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for operating setting up monitoring and maintaining production equipment used in the manufacturing assembly packaging and processing of biological and diagnostic products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail a commitment to safety and quality and the ability to follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while working collaboratively within a production team.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
Set up operate and monitor production equipment used to manufacture sub-assemblies and finished products.
Ensure production processes run efficiently while minimizing downtime defects and operational errors.
Perform equipment adjustments and minor troubleshooting to maintain productivity.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) work instructions and quality requirements.
Support production activities related to assembly packaging formulation and manufacturing processes.
Quality & Compliance
Maintain accurate training records and required production documentation.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) company policies and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures PPE requirements and workplace regulations.
Identify production issues and notify maintenance or appropriate personnel regarding equipment malfunctions.
Assist with continuous improvement efforts to improve efficiency and product quality.
Equipment & Troubleshooting
Conduct equipment setup and changeovers as required.
Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities.
Troubleshoot minor production and equipment issues independently when appropriate.
Escalate complex operational issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
Workplace Organization & Safety
Maintain 6S standards within assigned work areas ensuring cleanliness organization and safety.
Participate in shift handoffs and crossover communication with other operators.
Maintain a clean organized and inspection-ready work environment.
Handle biological products and materials according to established safety protocols.
Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with operators technicians supervisors and manufacturing personnel.
Learn from experienced operators and actively participate in training activities.
Communicate effectively regarding production status issues and operational needs.
Support departmental goals through teamwork flexibility and reliability.
Required Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma GED or equivalent work experience required.
Experience
Up to 1 year of experience or exposure to:
Manufacturing environments
Production operations
Packaging processes
Assembly operations
Formulation processes
Automated production systems
Internship or training experience in a manufacturing setting
