Thermo Fisher Scientific offers the scale reach and mission-driven work to make a meaningful impact.

Responsible for labeling packaging and assembly of all product lines as well as proficiency testing products. Responsible for adherence to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations/ Quality System Regulation (QSR) guidelines International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing operations production lab setting or related field

Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

What you will do:

• Complete production assignments in a timely manner and in accordance with departmental schedules.
• Safely operate various machines such as the dispensing machine videojet sealers computer label printer and label applicator.
• Work cooperatively and efficiently with coworkers in all departments with little supervision to achieve team department and company goals. Demonstrate job functions to coworkers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area. This includes all assigned equipment.
• Read understand and complete required documentation. All paperwork shall be accurately and neatly completed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Document accurately and check personal work for quality and compliance.
• Investigate and remedy when possible production failures.
• Continuously monitor product for defects.
• Help to maintain quality assurance on your position at all times.
• Sign off on DHRs in proper places and fill in pertinent information in accordance to SOPs.
• Arrive to work on time and work during scheduled hours working additional overtime as needed.

Thermo Fisher Scientific recently announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell its microbiology business to Astorg a leading pan-European private equity firm with deep expertise in healthcare focused on a select set of subsectors including pharmaceutical services and technology medtech and related services life science tools and diagnostics.

This decision follows a thoughtful evaluation as part of Thermo Fishers ongoing business strategy to actively manage and strengthen our portfolio.

We expect the transaction will be completed in the second half of 2026 subject to customary closing conditions and applicable regulatory approvals. Until the transaction is complete Thermo Fisher will continue to operate the business.

If you join the microbiology business prior to the close of the transaction your employment is expected to transition to Astorg.
