Job Summary
Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Torrance CA.
Location: Torrance CA.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing engineering process improvement CAD-based tooling/fixture design and production support within a manufacturing environment. The position focuses on improving manufacturing efficiency through workflow analysis assembly optimization equipment layout planning and support for new product launches.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting manufacturing process development and continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinating production flow assembly methods tooling and equipment layouts
Assisting with new/revised product launches training and implementation
Performing product and process analysis for cost reduction and quality improvement
Supporting tooling and fixture design using CAD applications
Re-engineering existing parts to improve manufacturability and efficiency
Troubleshooting manufacturing tooling and processes to improve quality and tool life
Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Qualifications include:
B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Manufacturing engineering experience
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering applications
Proficiency in CAD software and tooling/fixture design
