Battery Characterization Automation Test Engineer (Python C/C & Embedded Systems)

We are seeking a Battery Characterization Automation Test Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in automation testing embedded systems and laboratory-based hardware validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test frameworks executing battery characterization tests validating test results and supporting continuous operation of Apple test devices in a laboratory environment.

This role requires strong expertise in Python C/C Linux/Unix Git and embedded hardware testing along with the ability to troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues. Experience with Apple platforms and battery testing is highly desirable.

• 6-8 Years in Automation Testing Embedded Software Testing or Hardware Validation.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on laboratory testing experience preferred.

• Set up configure and maintain Apple test devices in laboratory environments.
• Execute battery characterization and automation tests on Apple hardware.
• Develop maintain and enhance automation test scripts using Python and C/C.
• Configure hardware deploy test scripts execute test runs and collect test data.
• Validate test results and ensure high-quality data collection.
• Troubleshoot hardware software and automation issues.
• Maintain and update automation frameworks and test scripts.
• Use Git/GitHub for source code management and version control.
• Develop data processing and analysis tools using Python.
• Work in Linux/Unix environments using Bash and Shell scripting.
• Maintain laboratory documentation test procedures and execution records.
• Collaborate with firmware hardware software and validation engineering teams.
• Analyze failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure timely execution of testing activities while meeting project deadlines.

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in automation or embedded testing.
• Strong programming skills in Python for automation and data processing.
• Strong development experience in C/C.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience using Git/GitHub for source control.
• Knowledge of embedded hardware testing and debugging.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
