Manufacturing Engineer – Project Support

Job Description:

Position Summary:

• The Manufacturing Engineer Project Support is responsible for supporting active aerospace manufacturing projects through process planning production readiness documentation control and cross-functional coordination. This role works closely with project quality operations and engineering teams to ensure deliverables are executed on schedule and in compliance with manufacturing and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support manufacturing deliverables for current projects including process definition readiness planning and issue resolution;
• coordinate with project managers operations quality and engineering teams to ensure timely execution of project milestones;
• develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions process plans and related technical records;
• identify and resolve production issues affecting schedule quality or readiness;
• participate in risk tracking action item closure and continuous improvement initiatives related to project execution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Manufacturing Engineering Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline;
• experience in manufacturing engineering within aerospace or another highly regulated industry;
• working knowledge of manufacturing processes production support engineering changes and quality systems;
• demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional project environment; strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior aerospace manufacturing experience; exposure to lean manufacturing and process improvement methods; familiarity with ERP or MES systems; ability to support fast-paced project-driven environments.

Work Arrangement / Engagement Notes:

• This role is expected to support on-site manufacturing and project activities with potential for extension based on business need and project load.
