Essential Functions
Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on design integration and implementation
Ensure engineering outputs meet defined standards integration requirements and quality expectations
Drive scalable repeatable solutions across new integrations and existing products
Partner closely with Product Operations Sales and Service to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions
Own and improve engineering processes including change management and design governance
Balance customer needs with internal standards to deliver solutions that are practical supportable and scalable
Champion continuous improvement efficiency and strong technical discipline across the function
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering(Mechanical Electrical or related) or equivalent experience
5 years experience in design engineering
Proven experience leading engineering teams or technical functions
Strong technical judgment with the ability to apply engineering and integration standards effectively
Excellent communication skills-comfortable translating complex concepts across technical and non-technical audiences
A practical solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
Nice to Have:
Marine industry experience
NMEA 2000 or ABYC certification
Pay
The hiring range for this position is 103000 to 144000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.
