As a Maintenance Technician at Rivermont Schools you will help create and maintain safe functional and welcoming learning environments for students and staff. You will perform general repairs preventive maintenance and facility improvements that keep our schools running smoothly every day.
What Youll Need
High school diploma or equivalent
At least two years of experience in general maintenance or repair services
Extensive drywall installation repair patching and finishing experience required
Basic knowledge of carpentry plumbing and electrical systems
Valid drivers license and ability to travel between regional school sites
Strong communication skills attention to detail and commitment to safety
What Youll Do
Perform general repairs including plumbing electrical carpentry and painting
Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections across school facilities
Maintain building grounds equipment and tools to ensure operational readiness
Address and resolve maintenance requests promptly to prevent safety hazards
Support snow removal landscaping and facility upkeep throughout the year
Travel between assigned locations to provide maintenance and facilities support as needed
