JOB SUMMARY

A Maintenance Technician at Woodward Camp is an integral part of the campers experience. They will be part of the maintenance staff maintaining records keeping Woodwards renowned facilities operating at a high level. A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the property ensuring the campus remains cleansafefunctional and welcoming for our vital tasks may include landscaping cleaning removing trash and performing maintenance on a wide array of features at our facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate power driven street equipment

  • Operate heavy equipment (Skid Steer Lawn Tractors)

  • Operatevehicles including pick-up trucks and Kubota Side by Side and trailer

  • Clean and maintain tools and mechanical equipment

  • Load unload and transport parts materials and equipment

  • Pick up litter trash and leaves

  • Respond to emergency calls

  • Perform painting duties sand caulk prime and paint

  • Perform groundskeeping tasks such as weed eating mowing grass and landscaping

  • Operate a pressure washer

  • Perform snow removal

  • Perform an array of plumbing electrical and carpentry work

  • Repair vandalism

  • Operate spray units

  • Put up and remove seasonal awnings

  • Install and repair or replace light fixtures ballasts switches and outlets

  • Operate small hand and power tools

  • Operate a variety of air tools

  • Assume custodians duties

  • Assist with guest requests and needs in a timely manner

  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety facility inspections

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  • 1 ofyears experiencein general maintenance techniques

  • OSHA certified on applicable equipment

  • Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces

  • Well versed in electric plumbing carpentry mechanical and fleet maintenance

  • Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments to work as part of a team

  • 5 of years experience in general maintenance techniques

  • OSHA certified on applicable equipment

  • Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces

  • Well versed in electric plumbing carpentry mechanical and fleet maintenance

  • Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of management techniques

  • Provide work related references upon request.

  • Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) child abuse clearance through the Department of Public Welfare Motor Vehicle Record if required by position and federal background screening via FBI fingerprinting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Drivers license preferred

  • Mandated Reporter Training Certificate

  • Safesport Training Certificate

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical Capabilities: bend twist push pull stand lift 50 lbs.

  • Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.

  • Adhere to all workplace safety practices expectations and guidelines.

  • Primary on-site work location: Woodward PA
