Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Hours: 40 hours a week (weekdays and weekends)

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Tech reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and takes care of the Companys properties/activities as assigned.

DUTIES

Overall supervision of anything maintenance related Examples:

• Repair drywall texture and paint.
• Hang doors and perform basic trim work/carpentry.
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.

• Perform landscaping (to include mowing trimming etc.).

• Frame simple structures.
• Perform HVAC maintenance (a plus but not required).
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years of maintenance supervisory related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess good mathematical skills.
• Must be able to assess a situation and come up with a solution under the guidance of the Supervisor.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
• Must have the strength and flexibility to perform the above mentioned duties and be able to lift 75 lbs
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize under the guidance of the Supervisor.

• Availability to work long hours including nights weekends and holidays as required/assigned.

The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision peripheral vision and depth perception.
