Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair work. The ideal candidate will have their own tools reliable transportation and basic knowledge of sprinkler systems. This role requires someone who can work independently respond promptly to maintenance needs and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across facilities
- Troubleshoot and fix issues involving plumbing electrical and minor mechanical systems
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Assist with maintenance and repair of sprinkler/irrigation systems (preferred)
- Respond to service requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Complete additional maintenance-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance handyman or facilities experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of construction trades (plumbing electrical general repairs)
- Familiarity with sprinkler/irrigation systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
