The mission of the Secretary of States office is to serve the public by meeting its legal responsibilities of collecting securing and communicating information that enhances commerce ensures the integrity of Louisianas elections and preserves presents and makes accessible government information essential to Louisianas operations and its recorded history. The Louisiana Old Governors Mansion is seeking a dependable Maintenance Repairer 1 or 2 to handle daily facility upkeep preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe functional and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. - Minimum Qualifications
One year of experience or training in the building construction trades building maintenance maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR
Six semester hours in construction management construction technology or engineering or any combination of these courses.- Job Specification

- Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Maintain install and repair all interior and exterior equipment.
Assist clients with event set up.
Equipment inventory.
Minor repairs to exhibits courtyard and building.
Work with contractors as needed.
Use and maintain tools.
May be required to work some nights and weekends.
