Job Summary

Position Summary
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the school facilities are safe clean functional and well maintained for students staff and visitors. This role includes performing preventive maintenance completing basic repairs and supervising external vendors when specialized repairs are required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance of school facilities including classrooms offices restrooms common areas and outdoor spaces.
  • Identify report and address maintenance needs in a timely manner.
  • Carry out basic repairs related to plumbing electrical systems painting carpentry and general maintenance.
  • Coordinate and supervise external vendors and contractors for repairs or services that cannot be completed internally.
  • Ensure school facilities comply with basic safety health and cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and report issues or completed work to school administration.
  • Assist in preparing facilities for school events and special activities.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to prioritize maintenance needs within the available budget.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in building or facilities maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical work carpentry and general maintenance.
