SUMMARY:
- Maintains fabricates installs repairs and/or replaces cleans and tests the facility piping valves heat exchangers safety relief systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains fabricates installs repairs and/or replaces cleans and tests the facility piping valves heat exchangers and safety relief systems in accordance with applicable procedures and specifications.
- Operate high pressure waterblasting machines.
- Tests repairs and calibrates facility relief valves.
- Utilizes electric air and hydraulically driven tools and equipment.
- Utilizes cutting equipment.
- Rigs for lifting equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance.
- Cleans up work area following completion of assigned job task and properly disposes of waste materials. Returns tools and equipment to normal storage areas.
- Completes other routine or assigned duties as necessary to meet the maintenance department work schedule to minimize equipment downtime.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum four years industrial pipefitting experience for primary skill and attainment of qualifying skills in two additional maintenance crafts sufficient to assist other craftsmen in performance of their duties
