Job Summary
We need someone who can quickly understand our current Mobius (a product from Rocket Software) installation on mainframe and how its used for archiving and distributing data from and to multiple sources and recommend a home-grown solution that can relace the features (not necessarily the product). The ideal candidate should have prior experience with Mobius if not these are the minimum skills required for someone to learn Mobius on the job:
- Mainframe application Development (COBOL JCL VSAM)
- Batch monitoring & Scheduling
- Performance/health check (CPU/memory usage)
Desired additional skills:
- REXX
- Assembler
