Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Rust Developer to support enterprise modernization initiatives by leading Java-to-Rust and C/C-to-Rust migration projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Rust development experience expertise in backend systems cloud-native applications and distributed architectures.
Must-Have Skills
- 5-7 years of software development experience
- 2 years of hands-on Rust development
- Strong coding experience in Rust C/C and Python
- Experience migrating Java/C applications to Rust
- Expertise in Tokio Async Programming Concurrency & Multithreading
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs gRPC Microservices and Distributed Systems
- Experience with PostgreSQL MySQL Redis MongoDB
- Messaging platforms: Kafka RabbitMQ Azure Service Bus
- Cloud technologies: AWS/Azure Kubernetes Docker Helm
- CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions Jenkins
- Linux Administration & Shell Scripting
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Java-to-Rust and C/C-to-Rust migration initiatives.
- Design and develop scalable secure high-performance Rust applications.
- Build cloud-native microservices REST APIs and event-driven solutions.
- Optimize application performance memory efficiency and reliability.
- Mentor engineering teams and provide Rust technical leadership.
- Collaborate with architects DevOps and product teams in an Agile environment.
