Position: Mainframe Developer

Location: Phoenix AZ

Duration: 6 Months Contract

We need someone who can quickly understand our current Mobius (a product from Rocket Software) installation on the mainframe and how its used for archiving and distributing data from and to multiple sources and recommend a home-grown solution that can replace the features (not necessarily the product). The ideal candidate should have prior experience with Mobius; if not these are the minimum skills required for someone to learn Mobius on the job:

Mainframe application Development (COBOL JCL VSAM)
Batch monitoring & Scheduling
Performance/health check (CPU/memory usage)

Desired additional skills:

REXX
Assembler
