Job Summary
The Machine Operator Caseoff reports to the Production Team Leader and ensures finished product is free of damage and meets quality standards. Ensuring finished product is sealed in cases and hand stacked on pallets from conveyors for shipping promptly following all GMP Safety and Quality standards. Keeping work area free from debris and following good housekeeping standards. This position is onsite in Council Bluffs IA.
Hourly Wage:
- Base Rate: $21.20 with attendance bonus (2nd shift $0.60 per hour)
Essential Job Functions:
- Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
- Read write and comprehend written English
- Move up to 40 lbs
You Will:
- Obtain daily schedule and supplies needed for production
- Complete required paperwork in English promptly (e.g. centerline CI inspections minor stop tracking)
- Perform safety check on equipment being used to ensure it is functioning properly
- Maintain efficient operation of packing equipment
- Hand place dinners in cases
- Ensure product coding packaging and product labeling are correct and there are no product defects
- Notify forklift operator to remove full pallets
- Clear minor jams reset and start equipment
- Ensure good housekeeping (e.g. sweeping mopping)
- Participate in PM drumbeat and AM activities (varying start times)
- Perform general labor tasks
You Must:
- Work with pork chicken beef and shellfish products in addition to many other ingredients and allergens
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 months production or related experience
