What Youll Do

• Set-up and maintain insert folding equipment.
• Locate flatstock to make ready for folding inserts and outserts.
• Perform all required preventative machine maintenance (daily weekly monthly).
• Perform all make readies and minor adjustments to produce inserts.
• Operate insert folding equipment as needed.
• Adhere to 6S SOP s and work instructions.
• Make trays and shippers as needed.
• Adhere to quality standards.
• Be responsible for weekly and monthly preventative maintenance.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

What We Need From You

Top Requirements:

• Mechanical skills.
• Ability to read a ruler.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Two to three years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.
• Must have the ability to read and write complex instructions correspondence and memos.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to pass a basic reading test.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Must have strong mathematical skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must pass color vision test.
• Must pass color hue test.
• Must be able to maintain good attendance.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

A Few Things to Know

• Shift Hours: 2nd shift: 3:30p-11:30pm
• PPE and safety observation are required on the production floor: Steel toe shoes Hearing protection Eye protection No cell phone usage.
• Employee is required to sit stand walk talk see and hear.
• The role involves machine setup operation maintenance quality compliance and production support activities.
• Significant overtime may be required during busy production periods.
• Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment while following all safety and quality standards.
