Description of Work
The State Farmers Market in Raleigh is a bustling state-owned marketplace open seven days a week 364 days a year. Home to year-round tenants and hundreds of growers from across NC and neighboring states the Market offers fresh produce plants meats and a wide variety of local agricultural goods.This position plays a key role in keeping the market beautiful safe and running smoothly. Responsibilities include maintaining the grounds through mowing pruning fertilizing and spraying; ensuring top-tier cleanliness and sanitation; operating and maintaining equipment; performing building repairs; and supporting the overall safety and daily operations that make the market a welcoming place for all.
Position may include night weekend and/or holiday work.

Recruitment Range: $32287 - $45000
Ability to perform physical labor for 8 hours and to work in various weather conditions.
Possess good verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and with co-workers.
Ability to work with the general public.
Ability to work on assigned duties and tasks.
