MA Sleep Medicine Clinic Full-Time Days
Job Summary
The Sleep Medicine Clinic is looking to hire a team-oriented and personable Medical Assistant for our clinic located on the Boise Regional Medical Center campus!
This MA position will support an established and personable Provider working at the Boise clinic located on the Boise Regional Medical Center campus.
***Please make sure you can meet minimum requirements before applying (see below). CNA and EMT certifications and experience dont count towards MA experience.***
OurSleep Disorders Centersare staffed by Saint Alphonsus physicians who are either board-certified or trained in sleep medicine.
Each of our locations offers a full-service sleep program that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of adult and pediatric sleep disorders including sleep apnea narcolepsy and chronic insomnia.
The program includes a full evaluation including sleep studies and other tests that can diagnose sleep disorders ranging from mild to the most severe.
You will support an established and personable Provider working at the Boise clinic location (see below).
Work in a friendly and fantastic care team environment where you will work with other MAs and variety of Providers.
In addition to rooming and patient intake you will process prior authorizations and work through other orders from the other providers.
Work with Providers to send/download/look up sleep studies and work closely with DMEs.
Work in a neutral paced environment enough to keep anyone busy without the added stresses and open communication.
An ideal candidate will be personable easy going and willing to learn from an established provider.
You will also be a strong team player have a positive attitude have strong attention to detail and have solid time management and communication skills.
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week Mondays - Thursdays from 7:00am - 5:30pm
Work shift start and end time can occasionally vary based on provider schedule and staffing needs.

This position may occasionally help cover at the Boise Nampa and Caldwell clinics as well.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire. MA certification required within 90 days of hire from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies: American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) American Medical Technologists (RMA) National Healthcare Association (CCMA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA) National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA) American Medical Certification Association (CMAC) National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE MA) New Graduates: 1) MA certificate of completion required from an accredited program or school. 2) Completion of either a 100-hour MA externship or 6 months MA experience in lieu of the externship hours even with MA certification. Medical Assistant with Experience: 1 Year of MA experience OR Current MA Certification OR obtain or renew certification within 90 days from hire from approved credentialing agencies listed above. Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire. *Obtaining the MA certification typically requires completing an MA Program or working as a Medical Assistant for at least 1 year. See each of the credentialing organization sites for additional details. EMT and CNA certifications will not count towards an MA certification.
