Suncoast Hospice a member of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated LPN to work in Pinellas while providing exceptional care on the following schedule: 8p-8a every other weekend.

What youll Do

Under the direction of the Primary RN the LPN is responsible for identifying Patient/Family needs and coordinating Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) provision of services under physicians orders.
The LPN utilizes monitoring intervention and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and enhance the quality of life for the Patient/Family unit.
Supervised and collaborates with Primary RN and/or CTM

What Youll Need

Graduate of a License certified Practical Nursing program and at least 1 year of clinical experience.
Maintain LPN license in accordance with State of Florida requirements.
Certification: Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
Current IV Therapy certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
Must provide proof of Valid Florida State Drivers License valid automobile insurance a copy of which will be placed in the employees HR file.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients/families providers direct co-workers and peers.
