Lower Elementary Teacher

The Lower Elementary Teacher supports a joyful structured and purposeful classroom culture where all students regardless of ability feel a sense of belonging and are empowered to succeed. The teacher delivers standards-aligned math instruction facilitates meaningful learning experiences and builds authentic relationships with students to foster their academic growth and social-emotional development. The Lower Elementary Teacher plays a key role in implementing the schools vision for equity and excellence ensuring all students achieve at high levels and embody the schools core values of practice service and purpose. The Lower Elementary Teacher reports to the Assistant Principal of Instruction and collaborates with the school team to create a positive and adaptive learning environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lunch recess and transitions as needed.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives events and service-learning projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the schools mission.

• Bachelors Degree in Education or a related field required; Masters Degree preferred.
• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification (or eligibility for certification).
• At least one year of teaching experience preferred with demonstrated success in improving student outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of middle school mathematics content and pedagogy.
