Job Summary

Under the direction of the site administrator the Substitute Teacher Health Science provides instructional support to secondary students enrolled in Health Science courses in grades 912. The Substitute Teacher follows the regular teachers lesson plans curriculum instructional materials classroom procedures and established expectations while maintaining a safe supportive and productive learning should possess the ability to:Follow and implement lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom effective instructional support in Health Science and related science and maintain a positive and productive classroom appropriate standards of student effectively with high school students in grades individual and small-group assistance to students as classroom discussions demonstrations activities and laboratory and safely use science equipment and accurate student attendance and classroom effectively with students school staff administrators and the regular classroom sound judgment and maintain confidentiality concerning student cooperatively with school personnel and follow District and site policies and procedures.
