Long-Term Substitute Teacher - 2nd Grade
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Commit to a long-term sub position
- Instruction and supervision of students
- Knowledgeable in classroom management
- Be a role model for students
- Utilize and understand formative assessment
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be involved in after-school and extracurricular activities
- Keep accurate classroom records
- Attend conferences and workshops to keep current
- Work as a team member
- Supervision of students as needed
- Attendance required at Fall Parent/Teacher conferences
TEACHING QUALIFICATIONS:
- Michigan Certification and Endorsements for appropriate grade levels
- Must meet all of the NCLB qualifications
SCHEDULE:
- This is a temporary position for the duration of the teachers absence
