Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Orthopedic Surgery

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories
• Develop and implement treatment plans for orthopedic conditions
• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures with precision and care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialists
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients on treatment options and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations

• MD (Medical Doctor) degree from an accredited institution
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Washington
• Residency training in orthopedic surgery
• Strong surgical skills and understanding of orthopedic protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning

Level II trauma

Schedule: 24-hour call 2 weeks per month

Setting: Hospital/ER and outpatient clinic

Patient Census: 0-7 per day

Full spectrum of orthopedic cases minus complex pelvic issues

Support Staff: PA MA and hospital staff

EMR: Epic

Board certification required

BLS and DEA required

Paid travel & expenses
