Join our team in Shelbyville Indiana where youll enjoy a collaborative office environment direct attorney interaction and the opportunity to play an important role in every case. This is a full-time on-site position.

Note

Candidates must have 3 years of civil litigation paralegal experience and be able to work on-site in Shelbyville IN. Personal injury litigation experience is highly preferred but experienced civil litigation paralegals from other practice areas are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

• Manage civil litigation and personal injury cases from initial client meetings through settlement or trial.
• Work closely with attorneys to develop cases organize evidence and support litigation strategy.
• Gather review and analyze medical records legal documents and other case materials.
• Draft and prepare pleadings discovery requests and responses and settlement-related documents.
• Track litigation deadlines maintain organized case files and proactively advance matters.
• Coordinate depositions mediations court filings and trial preparation.
• Communicate professionally with clients attorneys medical providers and insurance representatives.
• Identify potential issues anticipate next steps and help keep every case moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3 years of civil litigation paralegal experience required.
• Experience managing litigation files and supporting attorneys through multiple stages of a case.
• Strong experience with legal document preparation records review discovery and deadline management.
• Excellent organization communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently prioritize deadlines and collaborate with attorneys.
• Plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience preferred.
• A proactive detail-oriented mindset and genuine commitment to client service.
