We are seeking a Litigation Associate to join a growing employment law practice that partners with businesses to navigate complex workplace challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with employer clients provide strategic legal guidance and handle sophisticated employment law and litigation matters from inception through resolution.

You will work alongside experienced attorneys on a wide range of employment law matters including advice and counsel workplace investigations litigation defense and risk management strategies. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys solving complex legal issues building trusted client relationships and taking ownership of their work.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise employer clients on employment law matters workplace issues compliance and risk management.
Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution including case strategy client counseling and legal analysis.
Draft pleadings motions discovery legal memoranda and other litigation-related documents.
Conduct legal research and provide practical business-focused recommendations to clients.
Take and defend depositions participate in mediations and settlement negotiations and represent clients in hearings and other proceedings.
Collaborate with attorneys and firm leadership on case strategy and complex employment law matters.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and responsive communication.
Contribute to business development networking mentoring and other initiatives that support the continued growth of the firm.
Requirements:
Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
1 9 years of experience in employment law litigation or a combination of both.
Ability to meet a minimum annual billable requirement of 1650 hours.
Strong analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Outstanding legal writing and advocacy skills.
Executive presence and leadership potential.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings court appearances depositions mediations and other obligations.
Interest in mentoring and supporting the development of others.
Valid drivers license.
