Job Summary
Seeking Lipscomb Academy School of Dance assistant. Assistant will assist the teacher in dance class no dance experience necessary. Must be a current Lipscomb University Student. May be federal work study eligible.
Assistant will:
- Arrive at lower school by 2:15.The 5 year olds and kindergarteners get out of class at 2:30.
- Gather students in the hallway near their classrooms
- Helpthem change in the restroom and hang out with them in the lower school cafeterialobby until the class begins. Help female 5 year old through 3rd grade students change out of school uniforms and into theirdanceattire for class at the lower school.
- Assist thedanceteacher in any way she needs during class (mostly with class management and takingdancers to the bathroom if they need to go during class).
- Make suredancerswalk to their parents at the other end of the schoolbuilding when classis over.
- this is a great job for university students in the education/childlife specialist department looking to gain hours working with children
