Temporary Position with Opportunity for Permanent Hire
Are you an experienced line cook who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen Were seeking dependable energetic Line Cooks to join the culinary team at a busy hotel and event venue. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a high-volume hospitality environment with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidates.
We are hiring for both morning (AM) and evening (PM) shifts.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock workstations before each shift
- Assist with banquet catering restaurant and special event food preparation
- Maintain quality and consistency while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure food is prepared safely and in accordance with health department regulations
- Keep workstations clean organized and sanitized throughout each shift
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management
- Assist with inventory stocking and food rotation as needed
- Work efficiently to meet service deadlines during high-volume events
Required Skills:
Previous experience as a line cook prep cook or restaurant cook preferred Experience in hotels banquet facilities catering or high-volume kitchens is a plus Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings weekends and holidays
