1. Assist with stocking and setting up the kitchen each day

2. Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking assigned recipes

3. Plating prepared foods based on chefs guidance

4. Ensuring the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Knowledge : Proven cooking experience including experience as a line or prep cook

Excellent understanding of various cooking methods ingredients equipment and procedures

Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

Experience : At least 1 year of experience as a line or prep cook

Salary Range:

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension) health and welfare benefits (medical dental vision spending accounts and disability) paid time off parental and caregiver leave life & accident insurance and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
