Job Description
The Utah Division ofWildlife Resources (UDWR) is looking for adetail-oriented Wildlife LicensingSpecialist who is passionate about wildlife and possesses excellent communication this role you will coordinate and manage allUDWR hunt drawings ensuring they open and close accurately and on schedule bycollaborating closely with wildlife coordinators for precise data. By joining our team you will play an essential part in supportingstatewide wildlife conservation. Working directly with the Administrative Assistant Chief you will overseeand improve UDWR hunt drawings directly influencing customer experiencelicensing operations and wildlife management program efficacy.

On a daily basis you will partnerwith the Administrative AssistantChief Licensing Coordinator Department of Technology Services (DTS) staff Wildlife Program Coordinators and licensing support teams to provide efficientaccurate and customer-centric service.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day responsibilities of this position:

• Coordinates all the UDWR hunt drawings.
• Attend as a member on the Proclamation Review Committee (PRC) look over all guidebooks to insure accuracy.
• Oversee the lifetime license program.
• Handle customers needs that are associated with all the UDWR drawing.
• Understand know and be able to interpret Rules and Statue for the Division of Wildlife Resources.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum or day-one qualifications:

• Extensive background and familiarity with DWR hunt drawing procedures.
• Deep understanding of and experience with the DWRs public process.
• Demonstrated knowledge regarding administrative rules wildlife laws and licensing or draw systems.
• Advanced comprehension of hunting and fishing regulations including license agent sales protocols.
• Outstanding customer service and problem-solving abilities particularly within a wildlife regulatory or licensing framework.

Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications:

• Experience reviewing proposed statutes rules or policy changes and assessing their impacts on the divisions operations and mission.
