About this Position
Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods procedures and standards. Under minimum supervision utilized a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following: assessment planning implementation and evaluation. This position also provides administrative support to the department to include the OMM Clerkship and provider schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical
Practical Nursing
(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)- Six (6) months of clinical experience required unless internship completed in the OSU clinic system.
- 2 years college or technical training
Certifications Registrations and/or Licenses:
- Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of OK.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Valid Drivers License

Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
- Skill in delivery of patient care and procedures; medication administration triage experience direct patient care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy required.
- Ability to learn new processes tools and equipment as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred experience in EPIC
- Preferred (2) years minimum in direct supervisory or managerial experience
