The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employees scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary this position may be eligible for medical dental vision retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.

Department Overview

The department at Childrens of Minnesota provides care for children of all ages with all types of malignancies including brain tumors solid tumors and leukemia; and blood disorders such as sickle cell disease bleeding disorders and anemia. As the largest provider of services for children with cancer and bleeding disorders in the region theCancer and Blood Disorders program focuses on providing well-coordinated knowledge-driven clinical care. Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides support to providers in the delivery of timely high-quality patient care services in a clinic environment.

The clinical service functions include initial data collection assisting providers with rooming check in and scheduling of appointments. The LPN also assists patients with prescription management patient registration answering patient concerns and maintaining outpatient medical records. The LPN may also serve as the clinical Lead.

Individuals in this role will work in an outpatient clinic setting.
