Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
- Perform wound care catheter care and other skilled nursing procedures as directed
- Complete nursing assessments and contribute to care plan updates
- Document accurately in the EMR and communicate patient status changes to the care team
- Supervise CNA/GNA staff as assigned
- Support infection control protocols regulatory compliance and quality care standards
Requirements
Must-Have
- Active state LPN/LVN licence - current and in good standing (compact licence eligibility accepted)
- CPR/BLS certification - current
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a LTC/SNF or similar skilled nursing setting
- Proficiency with EMR documentation and medication administration
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment with rotating shift requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
