Job Summary
Currently hiring for licensed journeymen and apprentice electricians to join our team in Cedar Rapids IA. You will be responsible for installing electrical systems and equipment within an data center setting.
Working 50-60 hours per week.
Pay is $64 an hour $750-$900 per diem weekly available if over 60 miles away.
MUST HAVEValid Iowa Journeyman or ApprenticeElectrical License or reciprocating license
Licensed Journeymen and ApprenticeElectrician Responsibilities:
- Install maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in a data center environment.
- Install EMT rigid and PVC conduit.
- Install cable tray pull and terminate feeders power and control wiring.
- Install and connect switchgear panels transformers and electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints one-line diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Perform all work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and site safety requirements.
Licensed Journeymen and ApprenticeElectricianQualifications:
- Current active Iowa Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License or the ability to reciprocate into Iowa before starting.
- Commercial and/or data center electrical experience preferred.
- Experience with conduit installation cable tray feeders and terminations.
- Ability to work 5060 hours per week.
