Job Summary

Macdonald & Cody LLP is an established California insurance defense litigation firm specializing in personal injury defense with cases ranging from automobile and trucking accidents to premises liability shootings stabbings assault and battery dog bites and other serious personal injury claims. Our cases range from routine liability matters to complex high-exposure and catastrophic injury litigation.

Macdonald & Cody LLP is seeking a driven relationship-focused Legal Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a key role in our firms continued growth. Working directly with firm leadership youll lead recruiting efforts across our California offices build strong talent pipelines and identify exceptional legal professionals who will help shape the future of our firm.

Responsibilities:

Full-cycle recruitment and hiring coordination for positions across multiple offices in California (Irvine Riverside Monrovia San Diego Woodland Hills and Sausalito).
Proactive sourcing for hard-to-fill attorney positions.
Recruit for a broad range of positions including:AttorneysParalegalsLegal Secretaries and other office hiring needs.
Develop and post compelling job descriptions across the firms website site and external job boards.
Source identify and engage qualified candidates through job boards professional networks referrals and other recruiting channel/pipelines.
Conduct initial candidate phone interviews and assess candidates against position requirements.
Present qualified candidates to management and provide candidate summaries and recommendations.
Support firmwide recruiting initiatives special projects and other offices as business needs require.
Attend state and nationwide legal functions and networking events.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years recruiting experience preferably in legal industry.
Strong candidate sourcing and interviewing skills with the ability to effectively assess candidates and communicate recommendations to hiring managers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate candidate and hiring information.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential candidate and employee information.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Experience recruiting within a multi-office or geographically dispersed organization is preferred.
Ability to travel.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $85000 -$100000 actual salary will depend on the candidates experience and qualifications.
