Farmers believes in a culture of collaboration creativity and innovation which thrives when we have the ability to work flexibly in a virtual setting as well as the opportunity to be together in person. Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. Applicants beyond fifty (50) miles may still be considered.
The Role
What Youll Do
- Create engaging learning materials based on LXD designs and storyboards including:
- Microlearning content
- eLearning modules
- Instructor-led training materials
- Job aids and supporting resources
- Collaborate with LXDs subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content meets learning objectives and business needs
- Participate in design discussions and share ideas to improve content development processes and tools
- Review and edit materials to ensure accuracy clarity and consistency
- Perform quality checks to ensure content meets established standards and guidelines
- Stay up to date on learning trends tools and best practices in instructional design
- Recommend new approaches or technologies to enhance learning effectiveness
Additional Qualification
Were looking for someone who combines creativity technical skill and strong collaboration. Ideal candidates will bring:
- Experience creating scalable learning solutions for classroom virtual and online environments
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
- Ability to design engaging learning experiences from immersive simulations to quick impactful microlearning
- Confidence developing and delivering presentations to a variety of audiences
- Strong visual design and storytelling skills including experience with storyboarding and course development
- Proficiency with eLearning tools and platforms such as Storyline Canva Mural HTML5 Adobe Creative Cloud and video editing tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design or educational content development.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors degree preferred in instructional design education or a related field.
Physical Actions
- Work may be performed in-office or remotely (approved locations)
- Primarily a seated role with extended computer use
- Occasional movement within the workplace and light lifting (up to 25 lbs)
- Jobs in this category require rare if any travel.
