Summary:The purpose of this position is to assist students and Learning and Resource Center patrons with accessing resources services materials and technology support. This includes providing support for Resource Center operations student success initiatives campus services and community engagement activities while representing the college in a positive manner with prospective current and former students employees and the community.

Summary:The purpose of this position is to assist students and Learning and Resource Center patrons with accessing resources services materials and technology support. Job Duties:
- Assists students with accessing and using Learning and Resource Center resources; IT Solutions issuing Student IDs proctoring exams Laptop Lending Program. Assists Campus Receptionist with answering phone calls.
- Assists students with the ACCESS Online Bookstore. Tracks textbook intake and pick up and communicates with students on textbook availability and returns.
- Develops coordinates and assesses passive student engagement programs including interactive displays contests and self-guided activities that increase student participation and awareness of campus services. Collaborates with the Learning and Resource Center Manager to implement campus and community programming build partnerships and support student success.
- Supports daily operations by maintaining a clean and organized Panther Shop and inventory space. Completes sales transactions through the POS system.
- Catalogs processes and maintains library materials including labeling covering shelving inventory management and overdue-item tracking. Tracks usage data for monthly reports.
Education and Experience:High school or high school equivalency diploma required associates degree preferred. One-year related experience required three years of experience in an office environment preferred. Experience can be substituted for education. Education can be substituted for experience.
Abilities:Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Ability to communicate effective orally and in writing using business English. Knowledge of library procedures and protocols. Skill in independent decision making the ability to exercise good judgment and use critical thinking. Ability to work in an environment of shifting priorities frequent interruptions hectic pace interaction with students staff and the public. Knowledge of computer software programs which may include Word Excel PowerPoint; library learning management system and other district software products; and software downloaded onto student computers for specific courses. Skills to work independently as well as be a collaborative team player in completing assigned tasks and meeting deadlines. Skills to handle moderately to highly confidential matters and materials with discretion. Skills in excellent customer service including phone and in-person reception etiquette. Proficiency with office machines including printers copiers etc. Must abide by FERPA regulations and maintainconfidentiality at all times.
