What youll do
TheLead Sustainability & Stewardship Programswilldrive the execution of key initiatives that align withScout Motorssustainability and corporate responsibility goals. This role will be instrumental insupporting business units totranslatesustainability strategiesincludingtopics such as but not limited tocircular economy carbon reduction biodiversity and sustainable materialsinto actionable programs. The successful candidate will ensure measurable environmental and social impact alignment with organizational values compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to voluntary commitments.This role emphasizes program management strategic alignment stakeholder engagementrisk managementmeasurement and reporting.

Program Management
- Coordinate thecross-functional developmentandexecutionofsustainability and corporate responsibilityprograms ensuringalignment and integrationfor robust sustainable business practices.
- Develop and manage project plans timelines and milestones across focus areas.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent implementation of strategies.
Strategic Alignment
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment between program execution and the companys overarchingbusiness strategy.
- Identify opportunities for program integrationwithdepartmental planning and processesto enhance efficiency and impact.
- Partnereffectively across teams functions and levels to drive alignment and shared ownership.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engagewith internal departmentsto gather insights align goals and ensure programmatic success.
- Alignwith external stakeholders including industry groups suppliers and community partners to support broader stewardship efforts.
Measurement & Reporting
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support data collection analysis and reporting to monitor progress toward program goals.
- Contribute to transparent reporting for internal stakeholders customers and the public.
Risk Mitigation
- Identifyandmitigate potentialrisks toproject timelines dependencies and program deliverablesensuring robust planning to avoid delays and bottlenecks.
- Ensure adherence to compliance requirements regulations voluntary commitmentsand evolving industry standards.
Process Optimization
- Continuouslyreview the implementation processesto identifyopportunitiesforimprovementenhanceefficiency scalability and long-term value.
- Ability to ownend to end processes and drive initiatives to completion
Trainingand Advocacy
- Assist in creating communication materials to raise awareness of program goals and outcomes.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure broad engagement and understanding of stewardship initiatives.
- Other tasks or projects as directedby theDirectorSustainabilityandStewardship.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role may be based out of theScout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte NC.
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the companyfrom time to time.

- Bachelors degree inEnvironmental ScienceBusiness Administration Public Policy or a related field. Advanced degree in a relevantdiscipline preferred.
- 12 years of relevant experiencewith at least5 years of experience in program management corporate responsibility or sustainability-focused roles.
- Demonstrate exceptionally strong project management expertise with a track record of leading complex multistakeholder initiatives from inception through delivery.
- Proven ability to analyze complex dataproduce clear actionable insightsand present in a succinct manner.
- Ability to establish new standards and processes and drive associated plans to meet deadlines
- Balance strategic perspective with handson execution ensuring both the vision and the details are well managed.
- Adaptability and willingness to work inadynamicandgrowingbusiness environment
- Flexibility tooperatewithevolvinginformation maintaining momentum and clarity evenindeveloping initiatives
- Focus onendtoend thinking consistently considering upstream and downstream impacts dependencies and longterm outcomes.
- Proactive in identifying risks gaps and opportunities and skilled at creating structure.
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks related to sustainability and corporate responsibility.
- Excellent computer and systems knowledge includingMicrosoft Office365and common project management tools (MS Project JIRA etc.).

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidates skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range 150000.00 - $181250.00
