Job Summary
Location: Kennesaw GA / Syracuse NY
We are looking for an experienced MBD Controls Engineer to lead the design development and deployment of advanced control solutions for data center HVAC platforms. The role involves defining scalable control architectures developing model based strategies (MPC adaptive robust fault tolerant control) supporting physics based plant modeling and ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards. You will collaborate across engineering teams to optimize performance energy efficiency and system robustness while supporting commissioning and validation activities.
Qualifications:
- MS in Control Systems Electrical Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 6 years of control systems experience.
- Expertise in HVAC/data center control system design.
- Strong knowledge of linear/nonlinear control system identification optimization and predictive control.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink embedded control algorithms and system integration (MIL/SIL/HIL).
- Experience with commissioning chiller plants liquid cooling systems and supervisory plant controllers.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Modelica and real time optimization algorithms.
