What impact youll make
As a member of the Process Industrialization team you will be an active contributor to create maintain and execute the standard in how to develop and industrialize manufacturing processes using a team-based approach. This role executes steps to move process from development to production; driving the hand off process post deployment support and problem solving to finish
the industrialization of a process into full production. Focus is on meeting the needs of the production teams as internal customers.
Job Description
What youll do
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines analytical thinking and technical experience to execute team demands and roadmap initiatives
- Executes hand offs for new product introductions part and technology transfers new process introductions and strategic plant and equipment investments; inclusive of lead time technology selection tooling fixturing programming quality plan and run-off of initial production sets
- Execute hands-on development of new products and processes enabling a successful hand-off to the production team
- Supports project timelines to meet customer needs with a strong focus on safety process quality qualifications and problem solving
- Support problem solving post deployment
- Strong ability to identify and eliminate waste
- Engineering standardizing and optimizing manufacturing processes
- Participate in productivity efforts supporting cost competitiveness
- Incorporate lean manufacturing principles into process development
- Utilize kaizen activities for continuous improvement and collaborate with wider team on breakthrough initiative
What youll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 4 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment
- Ability and desire to work on site in a manufacturing environment

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
- This position is 100% onsite at the GE Vernova Greenville SC Garlington Road location
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e. U.S. citizens permanent residents and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
