Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Mammography Technologist to join a high-performing outpatient imaging team in Humble TX. This role is responsible for performing high-quality mammography imaging ensuring patient safety and comfort and maintaining compliance with radiology standards and breast imaging protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Ensure accurate imaging quality for radiologist interpretation
- Maintain patient safety privacy and comfort throughout procedures
- Follow radiation safety standards and quality control procedures
- Support workflow coordination within the breast imaging department
- Ensure compliance with state federal and accreditation requirements
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license required
- ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) required
- ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT-M) required
- Prior experience in mammography or breast imaging strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a patient care focus
