Some engineering leadership roles are really just project management with a technical title.

Were partnering with an AI-first technology company building products used by enterprise customers globally. Theyre looking for a Lead Software Engineer to help shape technical direction elevate engineering standards and mentor a growing team as they continue investing heavily in AI-enabled product development.

Youll still be hands-on.

Youll still write code.

But youll also be the person people look to when the path isnt obvious.

The Opportunity:

Youll work closely with Product Design and Engineering leadership to solve complex technical problems guide architectural decisions and help a talented group of engineers deliver high-quality software faster and smarter.

This is a role for someone who enjoys leading from the front.

Not through process.

Through credibility.

What Youll Be Doing:

Leading delivery of complex technical initiatives end-to-end

Designing scalable systems and influencing architecture decisions

Mentoring and coaching engineers across the team

Driving engineering best practices and technical standards

Building across Python React and environments

Working across AWS and GCP cloud platforms

Leveraging AI-assisted development workflows to improve productivity and quality

Partnering closely with Product and business stakeholders

Contributing to hiring technical strategy and team growth

What Were Looking For

Youll likely have:

Strong commercial software engineering experience

Previous Lead Engineer Senior Engineer or Technical Lead experience

Expertise in Python or both

Modern frontend experience (React / preferred)

Strong cloud experience across AWS and/or GCP

Experience mentoring engineers and lifting team capability

Excellent communication skills and product thinking

A genuine interest in AI-assisted software development

You dont need to be an AI researcher.

But you should be excited about where engineering is heading and curious enough to help shape it.
