Laundry AttendantDepartment: HousekeepingReports to: Housekeeping ManagerExempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt (Hourly)PRIMARY PURPOSEThe Laundry Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional performance in their role embodying Ranch core values and upholding the standards set for Forbes Five-Star properties and members of Relais & Chateaux. This position ensures the efficient and high-quality processing of all linens and laundry for the property. By providing clean fresh and meticulously maintained linens the Laundry Attendant contributes directly to the propertys reputation for excellence and enhances the overall guest RESPONSIBILITIESSort wash dry fold and iron all hotel linens towels and guest laundry according to established procedures and quality and maintain laundry equipment including washers dryers and pressing machines; ensure proper functionality and all laundered items for cleanliness damage and wear removing any substandard items from a clean organized and safe laundry area adhering to all health and safety and report linen inventory damage and loss to the Housekeeping with the Housekeeping and F&B departments to ensure timely delivery and availability of clean Ranch standards and guest experience by ensuring all linens meet the highest quality and presentation additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping school diploma or equivalent experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferably in a luxury hotel of proper laundry procedures equipment operation and chemical to follow instructions work efficiently and pay close attention to organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks skills or personality traits aligned with Forbes Five-Star standards including a meticulous approach and a commitment to to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced high-expectation to stand walk bend stoop reach and lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required by business to varying temperatures and laundry chemicals with appropriate safety measures in job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position; it is not intended to be an exhaustive list of skills efforts duties responsibilities or working conditions associated with the position.
