Laboratory Associate, Flow Cytometry

We are seeking a Laboratory Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia CA.

This role performs routine laboratory testing and supports analytical workflows to ensure highquality data for clinical research.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Perform routine specimen analyses and document results in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

• Evaluate analytical results and verify validity using laboratory computer system algorithms.

• Identify document and escalate unusual or questionable results to senior laboratory personnel.

• Prepare buffers reagents and solutions needed for testing.

• Conduct postanalysis storage of samples and reagents.

• Assist in drafting and improving laboratory procedures and techniques.

• Maintain a clean safe and organized laboratory environment aligned with 6S standards.

• Communicate clearly and promptly with crossfunctional stakeholders regarding workflow and supply needs.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelors degree; some CAP/CLIA locations may require a BS in chemistry biology or medical laboratory technology.

• 6 months of basic laboratory experience including routine testing and documentation

• Equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

• Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory standards.

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequent standing and walking occasional sitting close eye work requirement (computer typing reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

• Knowledge of laboratory safety infection control hazardous chemical handling and standard precautions.

• Understanding of laboratory equipment instrumentation terminology and basic analytical principles.

• Strong attention to detail workflow organization documentation accuracy and collaboration skills.
