We are seeking a Lab Services Supervisor Dermatopathologyto:
- Oversee day to day operations of the Dermatopathology lab as well as two Mohs labs.
- Maintain relationships with clinical leadership to help guide staffing allocation.
- Recruit and develop staff in Dermatopathology and ensure adequate staffing throughout the labs.
- As a working supervisor it will be necessary to perform benchwork as needed.
- Promote the UW health way in interactions with employees.

- Bachelors Degree in chemical physical biological or clinical laboratory science Required or
- Associates Degree An associate degree and two years of relevant experience in addition to the required work experience below may be considered in lieu of a bachelors degree. Required
- 3 years of relevant laboratory experience Required
- 1 year of experience in a leadership capacity Preferred
- American Society for Clinical Pathology registered as Medical Laboratory Scientist Medical Technologist Medical Laboratory Technician Cytotechnologist Specialist in Cytotechnology Histotechnician Histotechnologist Technologist in Blood Bank Specialist in Blood Bank Phlebotomist Diplomate in Laboratory Management or certification appropriate for Clinical Lab department(s) managed. Preferred
