Lab Manager

A terrific full-time opening has come available for a Lab Manager to join a long-standing multi-specialists healthcare facility in the Grayson GA area. This position would earn a competitive base salary ranging and a great benefits package including competitive insurance plans 401K plan PTO and other outstanding perks.

Lab Manager will be responsible for:

• Based on the instructions of the Laboratory Director be present and ensure the completion of office records/laboratory tests and reports as per laboratory policies; typically within 24 hours.
• Perform routine maintenance check of equipment call for maintenance service for equipment repair.
• Perform inventory of supplies needed within the lab and order receive and verify that all of the supplies (disposables reagents controls and calibrators etc.).
• Prepare schedule and maintain the schedule of all the technologists/clinic staff.
• Train and supervise the performance of other technologists/personnel to ensure the clinic is operating efficiently.

Required work experience includes:

• 5 years of experience managing a clinical lab with focuses in Hematology and Immunoassays.
• Experience in training new medical technologists to perform lab tests and maintain records.
• Experience in maintaining schedules dependent on clinics need.
• Experience in assisting in lab test performance and recording.

**Required Education / Licenses include:

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
