Position Summary:
The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for the food service program for LCECPs valley sites. Responsibilities include the direct supervision of the valley kitchen staff and volunteers. This position will also ensure food service needs for outlying centers as they relate to the valley kitchen.
The Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for:
Management of the valley kitchens
Supervising staff and perform evaluations
Accurate record keeping and strong communication with co-workers
Maintain current and up to date licensing and required inspections
Maintain compliance with all USDA regulations

Education Requirement:
Bachelors degree in food service administration nutrition or a related field is preferred
Knowledge of and ability to interpret state and federal laws and regulations that relate to Child Nutrition Programs is required
Must be willing to get further education as needed/required to acquire or maintain skills
